Part 2 of our weekend (WARNING- PICTURE OVERLOAD)

Saturday evening after we left the fire station we had a Pre-NICU reunion party at our buddy Rees Potts' house. Rees was born about a month after Cooper and Kayla and had a lot of struggles in the beginning, but now he is growing up and has accomplished more than the doctors said he probably would! We had lots of fun just catching up and letting the kids play!

Rees wanted to give Cooper a big hug and it was just so sweet! He found a buddy for life!!!

Rees having fun on the moonwalk!
I got Kayla mid air while she was jumping! So funny!!!

They liked helping put it down after the air was turned off!

After playing at Rees' house we drove over to the Children's Museum for the Annual NICU Reunion that Women's Hospital holds every year! This is our second year going to the reunion, but our first time to go to the Children's Museum! It was so much fun to go and see all the doctors and other kids that spent time in the NICU at the same time as us! It is great to see how much every child has accomplished!
Here Kayla and Cooper got to go grocery shopping. They had so much fun getting to put the food in the basket!
Cooper is showing us his Clam that he was putting in his basket!
They are ready to go check out and pay for the groceries!
And here is Kayla putting her groceries at the check out! So cute!!
Next we took the kids to the Vet clinic. They had so much fun just playing with the stuff animals and taking care of the sick animals! They got to see an X-Ray of a dog and they thought that was really neat!

This is Cooper with one of the Surgeons that we just love and he loves all the little babies and children that he works with! Dr. Bloss performed the first surgery on Cooper and Kayla and before he started the surgeries, he came and talked to Larry and I and I remember that I became very upset as my babies were going into surgery and he kissed me on the forehead and told me that he would take good care of my babies as if they were his own. Dr. Bloss also did Cooper's circumcision which was his last procedure to be done. He will always hold a special place in our hearts!
The second floor of the museum is just for the smaller kids! I know Kayla and Cooper had such a great time just getting to play and run all over this play area!

Mommy and her babies having a snack before we headed out to go home! This is the time to calm down!

I think it is so funny that Cooper makes this face when he is smiling and saying "Cheese"
Here we are with Rees and his parents Mark and Amy Potts! We are so glad to have made some friends for life!

After the reunion we went to Nana and Pops' house and got to see Aunt Lexis and her friend Corey. Aunt Lexis and Corey had the kids laughing so hard I was laughing hard!! Here are a few pictures of Aunt Lexis and Cooper. They just went back and forth!

And then he decided to be sweet and give her a kiss! Sweet boy!
And then Kayla laughing with Corey! She really opened up to him after about 2 minutes! Then it was all over! They just laughed and laughed!!!

So that is it for our Saturday! The kids finally went to bed around 10pm which is very late for them, but they had a great day and I will be planning a trip back to the Children's Museum for a play day!
